Home From Mississippi

Hello, I am finally home from all my summer travel and just plan to hang out here in the Orlando area until school starts.  I had a great time in MS visiting family and attending a local scrapbook weekend called Crop Connection. The ladies who put on this event are terrific and really spoil attendees. I also enjoyed spending time with my friends who I used to go on road trips with when I lived in Lousiana and Mississippi. They came over to join me for the event.

Cindy Davenport, Delaine Stoner and Angie Kyle

This event is held every January, but this year they decided to host a summer event. It was smaller than their usual crops like 50 attendees vs. 100 attendees.  We shopped at the vendors and our food was included.

Here are all the goodies they gave us.

Here's what I bought

forgot to add theses purchases to the first picture. And now for my FAVORITE PURCHASE OF THE DAY!!!!!..........

I LOVE THIS APRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This apron is by an up and coming apron and bag company, Vintage Glam, out of Mobile, Alabama that is in the process of  getting an Etsy page going and showing up at more scrapping events like, Scrapfest in Mandeville, Louisiana. If you run into Tiffany, tell her I sent you. She takes special orders, and I plan to order a full size apron as well.  She will be sending me a link to look at her samples, photos, etc. until her Etsy site is up and running. Don't you just LOVE this apron? I noticed ladies wearing aprons for crafting and shopping not just cooking.  Did I tell you how much I LOVE this apron? She had more that I drooled over which made it so hard to decide which one to buy. Oh, and one more thing, she uses designer fabrics and she scotchguards them for protection, and they are washable.
